We are currently looking for Project Managers to complement our growing team of restoration professionals. The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and executing all Superior Restoration activities on all claims to which they are appointed, ensuring that the Superior Restoration KPI’s and customer service reputation is always maintained.

Responsibilities – Main responsibilities will include and is not limited to:

Managing all aspects of emergency and restoration claims (scoping, sketching, estimating, coordination of resources, communication with insured and adjuster, etc.)
Ensuring the estimate and project timelines are met
Delivering exceptional customer service to insurance stakeholders, homeowners, and property managers
Educating the client on the process of repair, the timing of service delivery and realistic expectations
Prepares accurate job costing
Being proactive in resolving customer service issues
Inspecting progress and work quality throughout the project lifespan
Generating new leads through relationships with Adjusters and Property Managers
Be available to respond to 24 hour emergency restoration and mitigation calls. Ability to manage several projects at any given time, with a continuous focus on financial results as well as Superior client care will be key to your success.

Education & Experience:

University degree or college diploma in business, insurance or construction management preferred
Experience in Restoration/Emergency/Insurance industry

Desired Certifications:

Water Remediation Technician (WRT) certification
Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician certification (FSRT)
Odor Control Technician certification (OCT)
Xactimate

Desired Skills:

In addition the individual needs to possess the following:
1+ year working directly within the Emergency and Restoration industry (insurance)

Compensation Package:

Compensation is competitive. A company vehicle is provided. Also, medical, dental, and Life Insurance benefits are provided after three months of employment.

Position Summary:

A Restoration Technician Lead should be able to ensure the proper completion of all phases of the emergency restoration job from paperwork through to completion. Due to the nature of the work, often the job sites will be dirty, possibly cold or wet and sometimes unsanitary. All attempts will be made to accommodate requests of workers exposed to these conditions. The work can be very challenging, fun and rewarding. A good attitude, strong work ethics, reliability, integrity, professionalism and a desire to help people in need are requirements for the job. Duties:

Leading the day-to-day restoration tasks as assigned by the Project Managers which may include, but is not restricted to, the following duties:

General Duties:

Participate where required in assessing the job and determining the scope of work
Assignment of tasks and directing the flow of work efficiently
Maintain a clean and safe work environment while ensuring efficiency and the overall care of the building and contents
Ensure high quality and service levels
Coach & mentor technicians on policies and procedures
Ensure that all personnel, sub-contractors, are following the company health and safety policies and procedures
Provide team with regular feedback
Daily completion and tracking of job paperwork, timecards, checkout forms, vehicle records and other necessary paperwork with a high degree of accuracy
Being available for routine on call rotational emergency services and after-hours work
Updating the appropriate parties on any changes in details of projects
Customer Service!
Maintenance, cleaning and tracking inventory of equipment
Vehicle general maintenance and cleaning
Willing to roll up your sleeves and work alongside your team as required
Operate company vehicles safely, courteously and in compliance with applicable laws and company policies
Demonstrate a positive, team-building attitude toward the work and the policies of the company
To participate in demolition, remediation, cleaning, packing, moving and being responsible for maintaining a clean and safe job site
Assistance with Contents and Cleaning services as required
Develops and maintains strong relationships and acts as a liaison with policy holders, estimators and adjustors in order to maximize customer satisfaction; ensuring expectations are met in a timely manner with high quality service
Participate in CAT plans

Responsible for providing constructive feedback as to how the company can:

Improve efficiency
Improve the quality of the finished product
Other duties as required

Water Damage Duties:

Water extraction and removal of water damaged materials
Follow written procedures for emergency services
Move affected contents
Set up and monitor drying equipment
Application of antimicrobial products.

Qualifications:

Education, knowledge and experience required:

High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of work experience in insurance restoration and/or construction
Commitment to working in a team environment, with established team building abilities
Ability to work safely in a construction environment
Results-oriented individual with the ability to interpret and effectively manage multiple and competing priorities and time lines
Knowledge of OH&S regulations and related building codes
Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
Must possess a valid Driver’s License and the ability to obtain a clean drivers abstract
Must be able to complete a successful criminal background check
Insurance, Commercial Experience or IICRC Certifications are considered an asset
Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines.

Physical requirements:

Must lift heavy items up to 50lbs on a routine basis
The workspace may be contaminated with heavy smoke residue, mould and mildew, contaminated water or other unsanitary conditions. Protective gear is available for use and is required on some heavily contaminated work sites

Position requirements:

To report for work with CSA approved safety footwear and to wear this footwear at all times
Must be inoculated against Tetanus and Hepatitis A & B
To attend and actively participate in on-going training and certification as needed and to make every effort to attempt to pass any exams that may be required.

The technician is responsible for coordinating and executing Superior Restoration activities on all claims to which they are appointed, ensuring that the Superior Restoration KPI’s and customer service reputation is always maintained.

Water Damage Technician Overview:

A Restoration Technician should be able to complete all phases of the job from the paperwork through to completion. Due to the nature of the work, often the job sites will be dirty, possibly cold or wet and sometimes unsanitary. The work can be very challenging, fun and rewarding. A good attitude, professional work practices and a desire to help people in need are requirements for the job.

Note: The role involves 24/7 availability on call on rotation basis.

We are currently looking for Project Estimator to complement our growing team of restoration professionals. The Estimator is responsible for coordinating and executing all Superior Restoration activities on all claims to which they are appointed, ensuring that the Superior Restoration customer service reputation is always maintained.

The Estimator will be responsible for preparing the estimate and managing all aspects of project including emergencies, final repair estimates, obtaining building permits, obtaining quotes from sub-trades, budgets, and construction schedules. He/ She will work with in-house technicians and external sub-trades to ensure project restoration is executed in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining integrity of estimate and Client Service Level Agreements

Responsibilities- Main responsibilities will include and is not limited to:

1+ years working directly within the Emergency and Restoration industry (insurance)

Required Experience:

Experience supporting executives in a professional, for-profit, corporate setting
