The Canadian Condominium Institute is the Voice of Condominium in Canada. It is a national, independent, non-profit organization dealing exclusively with condominium issues. Formed in 1982, CCI represents all participants in the condominium community. Interested groups are encouraged to work together toward one common goal — creating a successful and viable condominium community.
Is the only national association to serve as a clearing house and research centre on condominium issues and activities across the country.
Assists its members through education, information dissemination, publications, workshops, conferences and technical assistance.
Encourages and provides objective research or practitioners and government agencies regarding all aspects of condominium operations.
Lobbies provincial and federal governments for improvements to legislation.
Advocates for higher standards in all services to the condominium client.
CCI operates primarily through Chapters across the country. The National membership meets once each fall for the Annual General Meeting, held in Toronto. Day to day business at the National level is conducted through the National Board, its Executive and its manager, Association Concepts.

WICC BC was founded in 2002. The first BC Steering Committee was comprised of Terri Johnson of Gore Mutual Insurance Company, Patti Kernaghan of SJ Kernaghan Adjusters Ltd., Marti Messam of Metrix Professional Insurance Brokers Inc., Jennie Moushos of AXA Pacific Insurance Company (now Intact Insurance Company), Steve McDonald of On Side Restoration Services Ltd., Jean Ritchie of The Economical Insurance Group, Janice Wavrecan of Royal & SunAlliance Insurance Company, Lindsay Olson from IBC, and Lyn Bailey from the Canadian Cancer Society.
From its early beginnings in 2002, WICC BC has been able to engage individuals and volunteers from many insurance-based companies that the organization has been able to increase its fundraising ability from year to year. Although the organization was first launched to support breast cancer research, WICC subsequently expanded its mandate to include all forms of cancer.
Since its founding in 2002, the WICC BC Chapter has donated more than $1.4 million to the Canadian Cancer Society BC & Yukon Division. The current pledge involves raising $500,000 towards Camp Goodtimes and lodge program in B.C..
WICC BC holds three signature events each year; a Spring gala, a golf tournament, and the November luncheon featuring inspirational, thought-provoking and educational look at cancer and those touched by it.

IBABC represents about 822 property and casualty insurance brokerages that in turn employ more than 8,400 people in approximately 140 B.C. communities.

The PAMA Association is a non-profit organization founded in 1970 to promote professional and ethical residential property management. Members recognize responsibilities to their investors, clients and to the community in general, when performing their duties in the management of residential rental properties, strata titled properties and any other properties under their jurisdiction.
